Directions to Camp
The camp is situated just off the B5289, about 1 mile North West of Keswick Town Centre, on farm fields next to Crosthwaite Church : see map. It is best not to travel via Keswick Town Centre, owing to congestion.
Instead, Use the A66 Keswick Bypass. Cross over the roundabout of the junction of the A66 and the A591. Continue in the direction of Cockermouth.
Take the next left junction, signposted Keswick, B5289 and travel along High Hill.
In approximately 3/4 mile turn left , signposted Crosthwaite Church.
This left turn is Church Lane. Head towards the church leaving the school buildings on your right. (Do not attempt to travel along Vicarage Hill, which is very narrow). Turn left at the end of Church Lane, and proceed slowly (5mph max) to the camp entrance.
We strongly recommend avoiding driving through Keswick town centre on arrival day
